The NSW Government's disastrous new land clearing laws put millions of hectares of native vegetation on private land at risk. Precious bush that is critical to the survival of our threatened species. Not satisfied with returning to broad scale land clearing, the NSW and federal governments are now colluding to extend logging contracts in our public native forests. This could mean another 20 years of industrial logging of 2 million hectares of NSW state forests - pushing our wildlife ever closer to extinction.
The government is fond of claiming that native forest logging is "world's best practice", but our analysis shows that their claim is baseless. We have a plan that will make our public forests the envy of the world!
Our goal is to complete the forest reserve network and use the remaining forests to make NSW a world leader in nature-based tourism and recreation. We see our forests becoming havens for adventure and outdoor education while supporting local economies and protecting our wildlife.
Our blueprint is nearly complete, but as a not-for-profit organisation we need your financial assistance to bring it to life. We will launch our plan in the New Year and use it to gain broad support from the community and help sway government policy.
Please donate today and help make our blueprint a reality, put an end to industrial logging and help unleash the real potential of our native forests for everyone
