The proposal for the Great Southern Forest, an ambitious plan to create one of Australia’s largest connected conservation landscapes, stretching from the Illawarra to the Victorian border. This is not a single park but a bold vision to permanently protect almost 1.2 million hectares of forests, wildlife habitat and cultural landscapes.
