Inland Rivers Network

The Inland Rivers Network (“IRN”) is a coalition of environment groups, including the National Parks Association, that advocates for healthy rivers, wetlands and groundwater in the Murray-Darling Basin. The network has beenadvocating on behalf of native fish, water birds, wetlands, Aboriginal cultural values and downstream communities in the Basin for a fairer share of water and a return to the natural variability of our inland river systems for more than 25 years.

With the Murray-Darling Basin Plan at the critical implementation stage, its essential we ensure the water given back to the rivers to restores the health and natural beauty of our rivers, redgum forests and wetlands.

Places You Love Alliance

Places You Love is the biggest ever alliance of environment groups representing 45 groups and over 1.5 million members and supporters.

Nature needs our help. For all of us that appreciate the natural world, who understand that a healthy natural environment is essential for a healthy society, we need to unite around a shared vision of an Australia that looks after nature effectively. We have a lot of work to do to reconnect, to listen and discuss and to agree on a vision that unites all Australians, including government and business.
