About our branch
Milton NPA branch is a volunteer, non-political, and not-for-profit branch of National Parks Association of NSW (NPA). The branch has been operating for over 60 years.
We have something for everyone, and our members enjoy welcoming guests and new members.
Members enjoy the benefits of the wider NPA community including access to bushwalks throughout NSW, webinars, the Nature magazine, member discounts, and the opportunity to contribute to a statewide organisation.
Branch activities
Activities program
We feature weekday and weekend walks and other events across local areas, led by experienced leaders, so you can discover new places and try new activities with the confidence that you’ll be safe. Find an activity to suit your interest and fitness level. Discover hidden gems, learn about the local environment and gain more confidence in the bush. Activities are graded from easy to hard. Download our current events schedule.
Conservation/ Advocacy for our local nature
Transform your love for nature into meaningful action. This year we are focusing on our forests, wildlife crossings over the Princes Highway and the planned MU Bypass, and our urban canopy. Come along and meet our conservation group at the next get together or field trip.
Connection and social gatherings
Join us at information evenings with guest speakers, dinners, film screenings, picnics, and BBQs. These are all great ways to meet new people in a relaxed environment.
